Toulouse Phoenix Project, 2005

A cast bronze phoenix based on the Bateleur (an African eagle believed to be the original influence for the myth), with a 15’ wingspan and mounted on a granite base. A gift to the city of Toulouse, France from the Atlanta-Toulouse Sister City Committee.
